1) Shah Rukh Khan (Red Chillies Entertainment) – Red Chillies Entertainment was founded by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan in 2002. It is a leading film and premier visual effects studio and distribution company. Some of the company’s highest-grossing titles include Om Shanti Om, RaOne, Chennai Express and Dear Zindagi.

2) Taapsee Pannu (Outsiders Films) – The actress recently launched her production house called Outsiders Films. She wanted to create a space for people with no connections in Bollywood to showcase their talent. The first project under the new production house is called Blurr.

3) Ajay Devgn (Ajay Devgn Films) – Ajay Devgn Films (ADFL) was founded by the actor in 2000. Its biggest productions include Raju Chacha, Son of Sardaar and Singham Returns.

4) Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Purple Pebble Pictures) – Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her mother, Dr Madhu Chopra launched Purple Pebble Pictures in 2015. It has a base in Los Angeles and Mumbai and is known to produce several Indian regional language films including Ventilator and The Sky Is Pink.

5) Anushka Sharma (Clean State Films) – Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma launched Clean Slate Films in October 2013. She believes in producing progressive movies like Pari, NH10 and Phillauri, and OTT series like Paatal Lok and Bulbbul.

6) Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment) – Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani founded Excel Entertainment in 1999 with a vision to make contemporary films in India. The production house’s most notable films include Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Gully Boy.
