While the country is in lockdown, the overall crime rates have gone comparatively low, but here comes another horrific incident into light from Misrikh, Sitapur, a district in Uttar Pradesh. At 2a.m. a girl was forcibly taken to a school building by 6 youths, while returning back after attending nature’s call. Two youths namely Bablu and Basant raped her while the other four filmed the incident and threatened her not to tell anyone, according to the police report.
All of them have been arrested and are being interrogated by the Misrikh police Station. The girl is undergoing a medical examination. Case has been registered against them under the various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
