Born on 5th September 1970, Achint Kaur or nicknamed as Chintzy is an Indian Television Actor who is worthy of praise for her dedication of 26 years to Indian cinema. She was born a Sikh in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh and completed studies there. She started her career in 1994 in a tv serial called “Banegi Apni Baat” and “Swabhimaan” and her career took off from this point.
She has work in over 17 films including Kalank, 2 States, Heroine and many more and over 16 Tv Serials including her most popular TV Series Jamai Raja for which she has won numerous awards like the Zee Rishtey Awards. Not only this, but she has also won the ITA Awards for Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Dhakan and Virrudh. She is also a theatre actress and played “Two to Tango, Three to Jive” recently. She has also worked in many Pakistani Tv Serials. Rumours of Achint joining Bigg Boss were declared false in 2011.
Her personal life is a bit delusional. She was married at 18 years old but the marriage did not quite work out and they parted ways. She stayed in a relationship with Mohan Kapoor for 16 years before recently breaking up. Achint is a single mother to Preetanjan, her 26-year-old son.
She is a lover of animals and travelling. Her determination and hard work are what brought her to the status of one of the most famous Indian Television Actor.
