The famous TV actress Aashka Goradia has been part of the TV industry for more than 20 years. The actress has bid adieu to acting in order to pursue her ‘other’ dreams as she wants to focus on her cosmetic brand.
She believes that it is the right time for her to focus on her entrepreneurship. She had started her cosmetic range a few years ago and now she wants to grow her business.
Aashka says, “Entrepreneurship was a path I wanted to pursue. The business was always in my blood, and this dream has been with me for quite some time now. Acting happened by chance. I was only 16 when I moved to Mumbai, but while pursuing my acting career, I had this business virus in me – to do something in the world out there and that has finally happened. So, I felt it’s time I tell everyone that acting, for now, is going on a break as I pursue my other dream.”
Aashka Goradia said that she is grateful for what her career in acting gave her but this is what makes her happy. She also added that she has informed all the producers about her decision. However, she is not sure if the decision is temporary or permanent. The 35-year-old who has done shows like Kusum, Daayan, Naagin, Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss 6 among others said that this step was not planned.
