New Delhi: Popular television actress Deepika Singh, best known for her lead role in ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ released a video and posted on her Facebook account seeking urgent help from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after her mother tested coronavirus positive.
In this video, she narrates the situation of her family and mother. “A few days ago, my mother was tested for corona at Lady Harding Hospital. This time her reports have been positive. However, we have not received these reports yet. When contacted at the hospital in this regard, he only asked to take photos of the reports. However, the report was not handed over. So, my mother is not being treated in any
hospital due to lack of reports. Therefore, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the Delhi government, please help me, “Deepika said in the video.
She also tagged Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to her post. She further says, “I have a big family in Delhi. About 45 people live in this family. Therefore, the family is more likely to be infected with the mother’s coronary heart disease. So please help me”. Meanwhile, her mother is not ready to admit her to any hospital as there is no space in any hospital in Delhi. Therefore, she has expressed concern that her mother is currently undergoing treatment at home.
“My mother has never felt so weak in her life. Even my grandmother has breathing issues. There are 45 people in the house, and now everyone is at risk. My mother had not even stepped out, she always stays at home and so we don’t even know how she got infected. We need to get everyone’s test done as soon as possible otherwise it can turn out to be dangerous for everyone,” Deepika can be heard saying in the video. The actress lives in Mumbai while her family is in Delhi. She revealed since she has a big join family, home quarantine seems like a dangerous idea. She requested to have all of them tested for coronavirus.
Deepika has sought urgent help from the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal as her mother is battling the pandemic virus which
has affected millions so far.
