Well-known TV serial Balika Vadhu actress Surekha Sikri departs away at the age of 75 in Mumbai on Friday, 16 July 2021 due to a Coronary Attack. All Bollywood megastars reimbursed acknowledgements to her, as they remembered her amperage performance.
Her manager shared the painful news with indianexpress.com,” Three-time national award-winning actress, Surekha Sikri has parted due to a coronary attack earlier this morning at the age of 75. She had been undergoing a second brain stroke. She was encircled by her family members and caretakers. The family asks for privacy at this time. Om Sai Ram.” Surekha Sikri seemed on the silver screen in the 1978 film Kissa Kursi Ka. She went on to earn praise for her role in films Tamas, Mammo, and Sardari Begam. In the 90s, she was audibly starred in TV shows like Banegi Apni Baat and Just Mohabbat. Surekha Sikri won Three National Awards in her lifespan.
The first award was for her role in Tamas, the second was for her role in Mammo. And last but never the least was for her role in the 2018 film Badhaai Ho. She was in a wheelchair while accepting the award. Moreover, she won a bunch of tv awards for her character as Dadisa in Balika Vadhu.
