AIIMS Director says Covid19 cases in India will be at its peak in the months of June-July

On Thursday, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Director, Randeep Guleria wanted India about how the patients of coronavirus will be maximum in the months of June- July. He told that this effect of the virus will increase in the coming days. This will only decrease or stop for sometime after a minimum of two or three months. He stated how the government would have no choice but to increase the number of quarantine centres.

People can just fight this by following the basic norms like social distancing, using sanitisers and washing hands. As foreseen, people’s lifestyle will be insufficient without masks and saying hands frequently, even in malls and public areas.

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said in the meeting, “The testing capacity has increased in the country and it is 95,000 tests per day with 327 Government laboratories and 118 private laboratories. Cumulatively, 13,57,442 tests have been done so far for COVID-19.” He gave estimates on the number of patients across India.
