Ajay Devgn’s movie Maidan’s 7 crore set might have to be recreated if the lockdown continues

Lockdown has brought a lot of industries to a complete halt. Film-making industries is one of the many industries that are at a standstill and had to take a blow.
Many expensive projects have had to stop shooting and many upcoming movies had to push back their release dates. They’re said to suffer great losses due to this.
One of the many movies that have had to deal with this setback is actor Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Maidaan’. According to sources, the creative team had started working on the set in January itself. Now there is a 7 crore stadium set lying around useless.

The set reportedly consists of everything from restrooms, makeup rooms to production
control rooms. But, as the set remains unused, the production house is expected to face a big financial loss. As per some reports, if the lockdown gets extended furthermore till June, then the production team of Maidaan will face another obstacle of the monsoon season. If the set is exposed to rain, it can get damaged completely and hence it would have to recreated.

Some sources say that the movie requires some foreign actors too but it would be extremely difficult in this time of Pandemic. There is still no confirmation about when the Ajay Devgn Starrer film, Maidaan, will hit production again.

After Tanhaji’s huge success at the box office, the fans have been expecting another block buster movie from Ajay Devgn. Maidaan was earlier said to hit the theatres on 27th
November, 2020 but now the release date will be pushed back.
Maidaan is a story about the golden age of Indian football and the greatest coach the Indian Football team ever had. The fans are eagerly waiting for its release.
