Akshay Kumar has yet again extended his support to the Mumbai Police, who are in the frontline to fight the unprecedented pandemic. The actor has taken an initiative which is worth praises, he contributed 1000 wrist bands to the Mumbai Police which can detect the symptoms of COVID-19 and get the treatment to the earliest. With this, Mumbai Police becomes the first-ever organisation in the world that will be able to manage health and take care of its personnel with the help of the bands provided. The Mumbai police have been receiving a lot of praise lately, because of their work and duties in the frontline to help those who are adversely affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Akshay Kumar earlier donated Rs 25 crore to the PM Cares Fund and became one of the other Bollywood celebrities to make generous donations. Akshay Kumar shared his views on his Rs 25 crore donation, he said that it wasn’t his contribution; it was his mother’s contribution to ‘Bharat Mata’. He further cited some serious views over the issue that senior citizens are likely to get easily affected by the coronavirus on this he said, “It’s important that I refer to my mother here because poori Duniya mein Ek fear hai that senior citizens will be ignored and left to themselves during this coronavirus crisis. Hum yeh soch bhi kaise sakte hain. Meri maa ki Jaan important hai, aapke maa baap ki Jaan important hai. No matter who we are, trying to save every single life is critical right now.
