Throughout the nationwide lockdown, Amitabh Bachchan has been immensely active on his social media and has definitely upped his social media game. He regularly posts something or other to interact with and entertain his fans and followers.

Recently, Big B posted a beautiful poem written by his father and poet, Harivansh Rai Bachchan. The poem talks about how one should not get disappointed even in the worst situation and keep on trying and wait for the right time to come.

Along with the poem, the Bollywood superstar wrote,” Yes the night is dark & deep, but when was it not permitted to light a small lamp! When the dreamed home you built with affection & love was drowned in destruction, when was it not permitted to pick up little bricks & stones to rebuild a small peaceful hut again ….. in the poetic uplifting words of my revered Babu Ji, ..Harivansh Rai Bachchan.”

Sometime back, the legendary actor also shared a picture collage on his Instagram page along with a poem by his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan. The actor penned the thoughts of his father in the caption which reads that he is happy with the prayers of his fans and followers and that people recognize him is what keeps him happy and content.

On the work front, Amitabh has several films lined up ahead like ‘Chehre’ helmed by Rumi Jeffery, ‘Jhund’ directed by Nagraj Manjule and ‘Brahmastra’ by Ayan Mukerji. Meanwhile, Gulabo Sitabo also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and is directed by Shoojit Sircar. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of an aged haveli owner in the film and Ayushmann plays the role of his tenant.
