Bollywood Superstar, Amitabh Bachchan has been immensely active on his social media accounts since the beginning of the nationwide lockdown. He keeps posting throwback pictures, pictures from earlier shoots, pictures from his daily routine and such to keep his
fans and followers entertained.
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan posted a picture collage with the words ‘miss you’ in an Instagram post. Along with the picture collage, he also wrote some of Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s lines to reminisce the late poet.
The words read, “‘दआु एँ मल जायेसब क, बस यह काफ है, ‘दवाएँतो क मत अदा करनेपर मल ह जाती ह,’ मशहूर होनेका शौक़ नहं मझु े; आप मझु ेपहचानतेह बस इतना काफ़ है‘~ Hrb”( All of your blessings are enough for me, ‘medicines are easily available after paying for them,’ I am not fond of being famous; Your recognition is enough for me).
Amitabh Bachchan is often seen reciting his father’s poems and shayaris on social media and otherwise. Legendary poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan passed away on 18 January 2003. Since then, the Don actor has kept his spirit alive among his fans.
Actor Mouni Roy was the primary one to go away a comment under the post. The actress dropped a folding hand and smiling emoticon under the image. Several fans of the superstar shared their emoticons on the thoughts of the actor.
On the work front, Amitabh has several films lined up ahead like ‘Chehre’ helmed by Rumi Jaffery, ‘Jhund’ directed by Nagraj Manjule and ‘Brahmastra’ by Ayan Mukerji. Meanwhile, Gulabo Sitabo also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and is directed by Shoojit Sircar. Amitabh
Bachchan plays the role of an aged haveli owner within the film and Ayushmann plays the role of
his tenant.
