Amitabh Bachchan wishes everyone a ‘Shubh Navratri’, check here his Instagram post

Navratri– as the name suggests, is a festival of nine nights which celebrates the goddess Durga and her many avatars. Today is the first day of the many colourful nights of Navratri. It is celebrated differently in different parts of the country.

The senior legend of the industry, Mr Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to wish everyone a Happy Navratri. He posted a picture of him holding hands and put a Hindu chant as the caption on Instagram.

He also wished everyone on Twitter by posting a variety of pictures of Navratri and put another Hindu chant as the caption.

He is among the many stars who took the time out to wish everyone an auspicious Navratri. Stars like Raveena Tandon, Nimrat Kaur and Rakul Preet among many wished their fans. Navratri this year has started on 17th October and will end with Dussehra on 25th October.

Navratri holds great significance in India and is more popularly celebrated in West Bengal and Gujarat. This festival signifies the victory of the good over evil.
