Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor who was shooting for his upcoming film Jugg Jugg Jeeyo tests negative for Covid-19. The actor took to his social media account to share this news and thanked everyone for their concern and well wishes.
Several media publications had claimed in their reports earlier that sources close to the crew revealed that Anil Kapoor along with Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Raj Mehta had tested positive for the virus.
Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Youtube fame Prajakta Koli aka Mostlysane, who is making her Bollywood debut with this film, were shooting for this film in Chandigarh. Recently, actor Maniesh Paul also joined the cast and he received a warm welcome from the team.
News still remain that Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor and director Raj Mehta are covid positive. There is no official statement regarding this from the remaining three. The shooting has been put on hold for a few days now until all the actors recover. As of now, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani are covid negatives.
