Anushka Sharma is an actor as well as producer her first web production , an Amazon Original series, Paatal Lok will be launched on May 15.
The new web series Paatal Lok is based on a crime thriller book which is written by Sudip Sharma. Some of his last works were Udta Punjab and NH 10 stared by Anushka Sharma. Paatal Lok stars are Neeraj Kabi, Gul Panag, and Jaideeep Ahlawat is in lead roles. As a producer Anushka Sharma is ready to step up in the world of web series. A few days back the actor shred the first teaser of her production journey and today she revealed its title as well as the release date. Logo and the release date of the series produced by Anushka Sharma is revealed by Amazon Prime Video today.
According to the press release issued by the makers, the series is based on the “dark bylanes of immorality”.
Same as the first teaser makers did not allowed introducing the cast of the web series. One can hear a narration along with intriguing graphics that show a burning city because of evils of society. It concludes, “Ancient scriptures describe a world where blood is shed for justice. Where cruelty thrives in the grab of humanity, where lawlessness is the only law, wiping out all hope of life.”
Sharing the teaser on the twitter handle Anushka wrote, “#PaatalLok ke niyam alag hai. # NewSeriesOnPrime, May15.”
An official brief summary on Paatal Lok reads, “Filled with mystique, thrill and drama, Amazon Prime Video Latest Original explores the dark bylanes of immorality. Inspired by the ancient realms of Swarglok (heaven), Dharti Lok (earth), and Paatal Lok (netherworld), the neo-noir series delves into the interplay within the four estates of democracy.”
Under her production banner Clean Slate Films ther then Paatal Lok she has bankrolled films like NH10, Phillauri and Pari, and the Netflix original Bulbul and Mai. On her acting work front she was last seen in Zero along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
