Indian Test Team Captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma are celebrating their 4th wedding anniversary today (December 11). Cricket fans are congratulating on this special occasion. Now Virat Kohli has remembered the contribution of Anushka Sharma in his life by writing a post on this occasion.
Virat Kohli wrote on Instagram, ‘4 Years of you handling my silly jokes and my laziness. 4 years of you accepting me for who I am every day and loving me regardless of how annoying I can be. 4 years of the greatest blessing God could’ve showered on us. 4 years of being married to The most honest, loving, brave woman and the one who inspired me to stand by the right thing even when the whole world could be against you.4 years of being married to YOU. You complete me in every way, I’ll always love you with all that I have and more. This day is more special as it’s our first anniversary as a family and life is complete with this little munchkin’.Along with this, Virat also shared three great pictures.
It has been more than two years now since Virat Kohli scored a century in international cricket. Kohli last scored a century in the day-night Test against Bangladesh in November 2019. Then he played brilliant innings of 136 runs in Kolkata. Since that century, Kohli has not been able to score a century in a total of 58 innings of Test, ODI and T20 International. In 2021, Virat Kohli has so far scored 483 runs in 17 Test innings at an average of less than 29.
Virat Kohli is now going to be seen captaining only in Test matches. On Wednesday, the BCCI handed over the captaincy of the ODI team to Rohit Sharma. Now after being removed from the captaincy of the team, Virat Kohli’s dream of winning the World Cup as captain has been shattered. It is worth noting that Kohli had decided to step down from the captaincy of the T20 team after the T20 World Cup that ended last month.
