The film industry’s popular filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan is soon coming up with a film based on the story of the blockbuster hit series Money Heist. The shooting of this film is going to start in December, for which the casting work has already started. Now the latest news is that actor Arjun Rampal will be seen in the role of Professor, the popular character of Netflix’s series.
Recently, sources related to the filmmaker said in a conversation with Pinkvilla, Arjun Rampal is being cast for the role of Professor in Money Heist. While Mustafa (Abbas’s son) and two other actors will play the role of other thugs. All three thugs will be presented differently with the professor.
Abbas-Mustan International have mastered the remakes of thrillers and this time the pair will present Money Heist in the best possible way. The title of this film has been kept as Three Monkeys.
It is being told that the shooting of 3 Monkeys will start in Mumbai from next month. After the completion of the Mumbai schedule, it will be shot in many parts of the country. According to the news, the film is going to be released in the second half of 2022.
The last Abbas-Mustan duo made the film Machine five years ago. The pair launched Abbas’s son Mustafa Burmawala from this film. Kiara Advani was in the lead role with him in the film. This film was badly beaten at the box office, after which now Abbas-Mustan is going to make a comeback.
Money Heist is a Spanish web series that got a lot of love from the audience in India including Duniyar. Now the story of this series will be depicted in the film. In the original series, Alvaro Morte played the role of Professor, whose character is quite popular among the youth.
Before 3 Monkeys, Arjun Kapoor will be seen in Dhaakad alongside Kangana Ranaut. Apart from this, he also has films like Battle of Bhima Koregaon and Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Apart from this, Arjun will also be seen in Netflix’s Penthouse with Bobby Deol.
