Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. It is observed by a day-long fast from sunrise to sunset for a period of 30days. On the occasion of Ramadan 2020, several Bollywood celebrities have wished fans through their social media accounts including Sonam Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Amitabh Bachchan and others.
These celebs have wishes for peace and love and also request everyone to ‘stay home stay safe’ for the coronavirus pandemic.
Sonam Kapoor posted a beautiful black and white portrait of herself and captioned it as, “Ramadan Kareem my brothers and sisters. Ramzan Mubarak” on her instagram.
On the otherhand, Huma Qureshi in her post, the Gangs of Wasseypur 2 actress shared that she is praying for everyone with special mention to corna warriors who are fighting for us.
She added-
“They are saying Saturday is the first Roza!! Ramadan is almost here!! Praying for everyone in these difficult times…. Shared compassion, service, and support for one another is the need of the hour. May god bless us all! And a special dua for all those fighting for us at the frontlines of this pandemic. Everyone please stay at home and stay safe! Pray from home! ”
The Bollywood star, Amitabh Bachchan posted a picture of himself from the film Coolie on social media and wrote, “Ramadan Mubarak… peace and love on this auspicious occasion.”
