An FIR against Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has been filed by the Bhopal Crime Branch on Monday with relation to an alleged fake video involved Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of BJP shared by him via his social media. The FIR was filed under multiple sections of the law after the BJP filed a complaint against the former Chief Minister on Sunday, with a claim of the vicious image shared by Digvijaya. “ The 2.19 minutes video was edited and only the 9 second part was shared by him on his twitter account” complaint the BJP heads.
BJP MLA also shared the screenshot of Singh’s tweet and said the post has now been deleted. However as the post was shared on a major social platform, it has been viewed and shared by many others hence critical action to be taken.
Digvijaya Singh is currently a member of the Rajya Sabha and also the General Secretary of the Indian National Congress.
