Youtuber, comedian, and rapper Carryminati aka Ajey Nagar is known for his roast videos, comedic skits, and reaction videos and was named ‘Next Generation Leader‘ by TIME Magazine in 2019. The YouTuber got into trouble as a Delhi-based lawyer lodged a complaint against him for his inappropriate content on women. Lawyer Gaurav Gulati took to Twitter to announce that he had lodged a complaint against Carryminati under sections 354, 509, 293, and 3/6/7 that pertains to ‘indecent representation of women’.
The lawyer went on to accuse YouTubers of ‘making sexually coloured remarks against women, publishing objectionable content on his Youtube, roasting and representing women in an indecent manner and publishing obscene language and gestures regarding women‘.
This is not the first time Mr Nagar has gotten into trouble for his views or opinions, his most infamous scandal is his battle between Tiktok v Youtube. This video was then removed by youtube after its violation of youtube’s terms of service. The Youtuber is all set for his Bollywood debut opposite Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan in MayDay.
