Recently, China has approved its third coronavirus vaccine for the second phase of clinical trials. China has confirmed its 12 new Covid-19 cases. Now total number of cases in China is 82,816.
China has now approved three coronavirus vaccines, including the one developed by Chinese military, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) for clinical trials.
An “inactivated” vaccine created by Wuhan Institute of Biological Products under the China National Pharmaceutical Group (Sino pharm) and the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) started its clinical trials.
This vaccine consists of virus particles, bacteria and other pathogens that have been grown in cultural and lose disease producing capacity.
U.S President Donald Trump has been eyeing Wuhan, China since last two weeks saying coronavirus has been originated from China. An official from Wuhan Institute of Virology denied this, and termed this allegation “entirely based on speculation”.
On April 23, at first phase of this vaccine, total 96 person in three age groups have received. The vaccine has shown a good safety results so far and the vaccine receivers are still under observations, said by Chinese pharmaceutical company Sino pharm.

The first phase was completed at the end of March, and the second phase was started on April 12.
China’s National Health Commission (NHC) said that 12 newly confirmed COVID 19 cases were reported in the country on Friday, of which 11 were imported. The other one was domestically transmitted in Heilongjiang Province boarding Russia.
The overall confirmed cases in the country had reached 82,816 by Friday including 838 patients who were still being treated and 77,346 people discharged after treatment.
The total number of imported cases of the coronavirus in China increased to 1,629 on Friday, of which 909 had discharged from hospitals after recovery and 720 were being treated with 25 in severe conditions, it said.
The asymptomatic cases were a cause of concern as the government has lifted over two-month lockdown in Hubei and Wuhan.
Asymptomatic cases refer to people who are tested positive for the coronavirus but develop no symptoms such as fever, cough or sore throat.
The total number of coronavirus world wide is 2.82M, of which 798k are recovered and 198k are death. The most infected country currently is United States which has 927K, of which 101k are recovered and 52,400 are death.
In India 24,506 cases are confirmed, of which 5,063 are recovered and 775 are death.
