The third phase of Lockdown is scheduled to end on 17 May. As such the Delhi Government has asked for suggestions from the Delhi’s citizens as of how they need to survive post-lockdown.

With these, the Delhi Government has made suggestions to the Centre regarding easing of the Lockdown restrictions after 17 May.
The public transport will be allowed to operate sticking to the social distancing norms. The buses and auto rickshaws will be running with half the passengers or as required.

Also, shops in supermarkets and malls will be allowed to open on an odd-even basis. Even shops that sell non-essential items will be allowed to open. Such that only alternate shops will be allowed to function and social distancing can be followed.

The buses, metros, autos, taxis will be allowed to operate. Also, the movement of labour will be allowed to construction sites.

The CM Arvind Kejriwal has said that the health of both people and the Economy is equally important now. So, measures will be taken to revive various activities in the national capital, adhering to safety and hygiene. For that, the Delhi Government is preparing a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

He also declared that utterly no activity will be allowed in the containment zones. The various activities will be allowed from 18 May.
