Delhi Government has decided to pay Rs5000 to all the construction worker who works during this coronavirus pandemic. Delhi Government is helping construction worker with financially.
Gopal Rai Labour Minister took this decision at Construction workers welfare board.
Gopal Rai said, “From Tuesday, the second instalment of Rs 5,000 will be credited to their bank accounts.”
Delhi Government also decided to launch an online portal where construction workers can register themselves.
Gopal Rai said about this app that, “From May 15, online registration will be started. Verification will be done after May 25. We plan to call 50 people at a time through SMS for verification at the labour office to maintain social distancing norms.”
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted about this decision on Twitter.
