After the death of Divya Bhatnagar, her brother Dev Bhatnagar speaks about her being sexually assaulted and beaten up by her Husband Gagan Gabru. Devoleena Bhattacharjee also joins Dev Bhatnagar in this protest. Both of them released Divya chat with Her friend and a neighbour. In the chat, Divya spoke about Domestic violence and assaulted by her husband. She also said that her husband family along with her family did fraud with her. She said that she never spoke about this because her husband Gagan Gabru said he will kill her mother and brother if she said anything.
She also mentioned that her husband forced her in an open marriage and he uses to go out with his girlfriends. Her brother posted a highlighted picture of the chats were she mentioned her husband use to beat her with a belt on every small matter. Devoleena Bhattacharjee also posted a picture of the marks of Divya. On this Gagan, Gabru replied through a video and said where were Devoleena and Dev when Divya was facing financial problem. It’s shameful to make fun of anyone’s death. Divya never spoke about this because everything was fine between us.
Gagan posted a video of him and Divya dancing he wrote that this was his Divya to whom people are saying that he forced her for marriage, mentally tortured her, to whom he kept in a room, abuse her, beat her and treated her badly after marriage.
To this Devoleena Bhattacharjee replied that maybe she was not there with her but what you did. He asked him to come to the police station instead of running. She also said Divya never said anything to us because she wanted to give him time. Devoleena said in last that maybe she is dead because of COVID-19 but we can’t ignore the stress which was put on her by her husband. The thing she was going through we can’t live the culprit to walk freely. She asked everyone to speak about this and support her for and help her to seek justice for Divya.
Every coin has two sides maybe Devoleena Bhattacharjee is wrong or maybe Gagan Gabru. But right now the coin seems to be on Devoleena Bhattacharjee side.
