Anushka Sharma has said that she is moving away from her production company’s clean slate films. She said that she will give her time to her first love Acting. Adding, that being a new mother and an actor by profession, she has to balance her life in a completely new way. Continuing, Anushka also gave credit to her brother Entrepreneur Karnesh Sharma, as she trusted him to take the responsibility of taking the company forward.
She wrote in a post that when I started Clean Slate films with my brother Karnesh Sharma, we were novices when it came to production, but our stomachs were on fire and we wanted to set the agenda for Indian Entertainment. Today when I look back on my journey so far, I feel proud of what we created and the struggle we have been able to achieve. Where CSF started with my vision to balance the story with commercial projects. I give credit to Karnesh who has excelled in shopping for CSF today.
Further adding, She says, “I will continue to be one of the biggest cheerleaders for Karnesh and CSF and look forward to being a part of the many disruptive projects that CSF has built. I can’t wait to see how he wraps up with the lineup of those projects. My best wishes to the entire family in the company of all of you love Anushka.
Anushka Sharma, who married cricketer Virat Kohli in December 2017, welcomed her first child, and the couple became parents to their daughter Vamika in January 2021. Clean slate films, founded by Anushka and Karnesh in 2013 have produced several critically acclaimed titles such as NH10, Pari, Netflix’s Bulbul, and the Amazon prime video series Paatal lok.
Her upcoming projects include a drama series titled “Mai” and Netflix’s film Qala. Anushka will be seen in her upcoming film “Chakda Express” inspired by the life and journey of cricketer “Jhulam Goswami”. Anushka was seen in the 2018 film Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
