“1232 KM” is a Hindi language documentary that will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar on 24th March 2021. It has been directed by the journalist turned filmmaker Vinod Kapri. The lyricist Gulzar has contributed to the music in the documentary film.

It is a documentary based on the migrant workers struggling to back to their hometown during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. It also marks a year of the lockdown.

In the trailer, the workers have seen cycling, with their families walking on foot from Delhi to Bihar and it has been a rocky road for many labourers. Many could not afford the basic necessities such as food and water and the right to free transportation.

There are workers being famished, some of them died due to starvation and some getting ill quickly. At the end of the trailer, there are also workers who made it to their abode.

It is definitely a must-watch film as it will touch the hearts of many and comprehend the battles the migrant workers have been through.
