Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas starrer movie 99 Songs is a Musical Romantic film. This Telugu film is blessed with A.R Rahman’s Iconic music and story writing. The film is directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy.
We will also get to see Tenzin Dalha, Aditya Seal, Lisa Ray, Manisha Koirala, Thomson Andrews, Ranjit Barot, Rahul Ram, Remo Fernandes, Ashwath Bhatt and Kurush Deboo are seen in supporting roles. The movie is bankrolled by A.R Rahman under the banner of Ideal Entertainment, YM Movies.
The cinematography of the film is done by Tanay Satam, James Cowley and it is edited by Akshay Mehta, Shreyas Beltangdy. A.R Rahman had gone to London for Bombay Dreams, its musical producer then asked him if Rahman had any story then.
To that Rahman had replied that he is just a composer but then he started thinking in that direction. He tried connecting thinking, stories, music and life from where the movie 99 songs have born.
Producer Rahman also said that “Now I am looking at music from the perspectives of filmmakers and storytellers. Artistically, I am now going much deeper into things.” The film is all set to hit the screen on 16th April.
