Aana is a horror thriller movie directed by Manoj P Nadalumane. The movie casts Aditi Prabhudeva and Suneel Puranik are in the lead roles. The music was composed by Ritvik Muralidhar while this film is produced by Pooja Vasanth Kumar.
‘Aana’ features an interesting blend of horror and fantasy elements and comes off as an unlikely superhero vehicle. While the superhero genre has generally been underexploited in India, owing to its large scale and budget requirements, it would be interesting to see how ‘Aana’ fares in that regard. The film’s makers would also hope that the novelty factor (of creating India’s first female superhero) will come into play at the time of the release.
