Abalamban is a Bengali movie released on 17 Sep 2021. Bankrolled by Camellia Productions, 17th September is a story based on a young couple who have come to Kolkata from the suburbs who belong to a joint family. Neel and Labanya have filed for divorce in court and the reason for their separation is the monetary problems that could not be solved even though both of them have been working. Now the question is, will Labanya and Neel get divorced or will they carry on with their life, will the financial and mental problems will be solved or something else waits for them? That’s what forms the crux of the film. Besides Soham and Arunima in the lead, the film sees Anindati Bose, Biswajit Chakraborty, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Pradip Bhattacharya and others in pivotal roles.
About the Director Narugopal Mandal had stepped into Kolkata nearly twenty years back-with colourful dreams of making it big in the this City of Joy. Hailing from East Midnapore, West Bengal, India: from a very poor background- it is highly commendable, that this multi-talented youth walked roughest of roads, to own his own production house (Sri Om Narasingha Jue Production) presently, creating a niche for himself in the Industry.
