Angeliena is a story set in South Africa which will be exploring self-love, dreams, making money, hardships, friendships, and mainly talk about Nelson Mandela. The story revolves around Angeliena, a parking attendant in a small town hospital who puts off her lifelong dream about travelling the world when she is diagnosed with a fatal disease. The movie has been directed by Uga Carlini, a multi-award-winning filmmaker, who is also one of the most celebrated directors in Africa.
The cast of the movie includes Euodia Samson, Tshamano Sebe, Kuli Roberts, Marciel Hopkins, June van Merch, Nicole Madell,
Thapelo Makoena and Colin Moss. The movie is being produced by Dumi Gumbi and Uga Carlini under the production houses, Netflix, Towerkop Creations, Mad Solutions, NFVF, and DTIC.
