The prequel of Army of the Dead is titled Army of Thieves. The releasing date for this upcoming Netflix film is 29 October in the Halloween period. This American-German romantic comedy heist film is all about slaying zombies.
The story commences six years back before the Zombie outbreak. Ludwig Dieter got hired by a suspicious lady to conduct a heist in his initial days of safecracking with other misfit crew of aspiring thieves.
So when the world is standing on the verge of doom, the grand heist takes place. Matthias Schweighofer is the director and, Shay Hatten works as a screenplay writer. The story was penned down by Zack Snyder and Shay Hatten. The whole concept seems strange. But it would be entertaining to watch how all the drama gets executed at the same time.
The star team for this big-budget film are Matthias Schweighöfer, Nathalie Emmanuel, Guz Khan, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin, Jonathan Cohen, Noemie Nakai, Peter Simonischek, John Bubniak etc. The shooting took place in Germany. Hans Zimmer and Steve Mazzaro composed the music for this film.
