And the quest for human flesh continues. The apocalyptic fiction drama “Black Summer” created by Karl Schaefer and John Hyams, is back with its second season and fans are losing their minds. The teaser is out and by the look of it, we can tell that this season is going to be intense.

Jaime King will return to play Rose, a mother who was desperate to be reunited with her daughter. Likewise, Justin Chu Cary, Kelsey Flower, and Christine Lee are also set to return. Cary plays Spears, a criminal who took the name of the soldier he killed. Flower plays Lance, a young survivor without a family and Lee is behind Sun, a North Korean woman who is looking for her missing mother and is one of the most innovative characters in this subgenre.

Last season started with the beginning of the zombie apocalypse and revolved around heroes and antiheroes getting to the stadium as quickly as possible, but when they arrived the help they were relying on had already left, but the one good thing about it was that Rose found her daughter in this process.

Season 2 will pick up after that revelation and show our survivors trying to tackle this new world or their own. On Twitter Netflix posted three one minute clips accompanied with the phrase “NOWHERE TO HIDE”,” NO ONE TO TRUST” and “NO WAY TO KNOW WHO’S NEXT”.Black Summer’s second season premieres on 17th June on Netflix.
