Bridgerton, Netflix series, Season 1 was a super hit that was watched by over 82 million households in the first 28 days. It was released on December 25th, 2020.
The series is inspired by the best-selling novel of Julia Quinns. A tale of 8 siblings hoping to find love and happiness in London society.
Fortunately for us, the second season of the steamy romance of 19th century London is on its way, the teaser of season 2 was released on valentines this year, The filming of the second season had already started in spring 2021, but the makers had to pause due to the COVID outbreak. Fans were hoping for the release of season 2 somewhere around Christmas 2021.
So, now the brand new season of Bridgeton will be releasing on 25th March 2022, We will see four new characters on the screen including
Charithra Chandran (Alex Rider) will play Edwina Sharma, Kate’s younger sister, Shelley Conn (Liar) will play Kate and Edwina’s mother, Lady Mary Sharma. Calam Lynch will play Theo Sharpe, and Rupert Young (Dear Evan Hansen) plays Jack, a new character that isn’t in the books.
So yeah, the wait is finally over, can’t wait for the release of seasons 3 and 4.
