Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to announce the official release date of his upcoming film ‘Chehre’. “Chehre, releasing on 27th August in cinemas near you,” Bachchan announced in his post and also shared a dialogue promo.

The film that stars Amitabh and Emraan in leading roles also features Raghubir Yadav and Rhea Chakraborty. The makers have already released the trailer of the film earlier this year. It was scheduled to release on April 9 but the covid lockdown led to its delay.

In the teaser, Amitabh Bachchan can be seen wearing a beret cap as he says, “Agar aapme se kisi ne koi aapradh ya jurm kiya ho, toh bahut sambhal kar yahan se guzariyega kyuki yeh khel aapke saath bhi Khela jaa sakta hai. Chehre” was earlier scheduled to be released in July 2020 but was pushed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The team had taken great efforts and we always thought that ‘Chehre’ deserved a theatrical release.
