Creed III, an upcoming American boxing world, directed by and starring Michael B. Jordan (in his feature directorial debut) along with Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Wood Harris, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad. Screenplay by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin. Produced by Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Ryan Coogler, Irwin Winkler and David Winkler. Cinematography by Kramer Morgenthau, Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, United Artists.
The film is the sequel to Creed II (2018) and the ninth instalment in the Rocky film series. This is the first film in the series without Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa, though he still serves as a producer.
The story starts when Damian, a childhood friend of Adonis(protagonist) and former boxing prodigy resurfaces after serving time in prison, he’s eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face-off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian — a fighter who has nothing to lose. The movie is going to be released on 3 March 2023 (India).
