Princess Diana’s death made a mark on the world so much so that Netflix is coming with a second show based on the princess which will air on the first of October.
‘Diana: The Musical’, a broadway show will be starring Jeanna de Waal as Diana who is a regular on a broadway and London theatre veteran who has also made an appearance in Netflix’s ‘Iron Fist’. The rest of the cast includes Roe Hartrampf as Prince Charles, Erin Davie as Camilla Parker-Bowles, and veteran stage actress Judy Kaye as Queen Elizabeth.
The performance of the stage show, which had to close in March 2020 due to COVID-19 while it was still in early previews, was filmed last year and features the original Broadway cast. Broadway shows have gained a lot of access in OTT platforms like Disney+ and HBO Max during the pandemic, this is one of the few shows which who had very few screenings before it completely shut down due to the lockdown restrictions.
