Ek Villain Returns is an upcoming Indian Hindi language romantic action thriller film. Which is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and T-series. The film is a spiritual sequel to Suri’s 2014 film Ek Villain. Although the story is completely different. Ek villain Returns stars Amir Hossain Ashik, John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles. The film will be released worldwide in cinema on 29 July 2022.

Aditya Roy Kapoor was originally signed for the role starring Arjun Kapoor but later backed. Due to creative differences with the director Mohit Suri. The photography of the film started on 1 March 2021 and ended in October 2021.

Director Mohit Suri had earlier said in a statement, Ek Villain was my passion project and labour of love. The kind of love I get for Ek Villain now just stuns me I am sure the love is going to grow bigger with Ek villain Returns and while I cannot reveal much more about the film. I can assure you this is going to be an exciting roller coaster ride.

Indian Express, in a conversation with the director, said that the girls are also playing the role of villains in this film, and Ekta is trying to create a whole series of villains and different characters who are all intertwined with each other.
