A forthcoming biographical movie in Hindi that Kangana Ranaut is directing and producing was based on her own tale and Ritesh Shah’s screenplay. Ranaut plays former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film based on the 1977 Indian Emergency. Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, and Milind Soman all have significant parts in the movie.

Beginning in July 2022 and ending in January 2023 was the principal photography. It represents Satish Kaushik’s postmortem film after his passing on March 8, 2023.

Plot- based on actual occurrences that took place in 1975. It describes events while Mrs Indira Gandhi, one of the most powerful women in Indian history, was in charge.
