Faraway is a German romantic-comedy Netflix series. Starring Naomi Krauss, the multilingual rom-com could be a big hit for Netflix across Europe, directed by Vanessa Jopp. Eva Katharina Bühler is the cinematographer of the movie.

Based on the screenplay by Jane Ainscough (I’m Off Then), Faraway is a movie made by women, for women, with the captivating Naomi Krauss in the lead role. Zeynep Altin (Naomi Krauss) is at the end of her tether. She’s overworked and pushed around by her husband, daughter and ageing father. Her mother’s death and her funeral, which nearly ends in total disaster, is the last straw for Zeynep – she leaves Munich and escapes to an island in Croatia. After inheriting a house on a Croatian island, she embarks on a spur-of-the-moment trip that reignites her joy in life and opens a door to new love.
