The focus of the film, which also has Pavan Malhotra in a key part, is on Karthik Dammu, a National School of Drama alum who was earlier spotted in the Sayantan Mukherjee online series “Ray.” ‘Fauja’s’ closed-door premiere show stirred up an emotion that was difficult to let go of, according to all sources with knowledge of it.

Karthik, who is now a long-term student and will soon begin working for a corporation, claims that watching films is more of a hobby than a job.

Karthik, who is also anxiously anticipating the release of his debut film as the lead hero, thinks that achieving a harmonic balance between one’s work life and personal hobbies may be a difficult feat in today’s fast-paced and competitive corporate environment.

In addition to Punjabi and Telugu films, well-known actor Pavan Malhotra also performs on television and plays the father of Karthik in the movie “Fauja.” He has won several honours, including the Filmfare OTT Award and the Filmfare South Award.

The 1989 films “Bagh Bahadur,” which won a National Award, and “Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro,” by Saeed Akhtar Mirza, both had Pavan in the major roles.

He achieved fame by portraying the ruthless mafia boss Irfan Khan in the Telugu hit “Aithe” (2003) and by playing Tiger Memon in the critically acclaimed film “Black Friday” (2004).
