Directed by debutant Puneet Khanna, Ginny weds Sunny is a 2020 Indian romantic-comedy movie. It stars Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey in the lead roles alongside other prominent actors like Suhail Nayyar, Isha Talwar, Ayesha Raza Mishra etc.
Simran Juneja aka Ginny (Yami Gautam) is a Delhi based headstrong girl who can’t get over her past relationship. She keeps hanging out with her ex-boyfriend Nishant Rathee (Suhail Nayyar). Ginny wants marriage but Nishant keeps on denying due to which they breakup. But Nishant never lets her actually get out of the relationship. Due to this strained and undefined relation, it becomes difficult for her to move on.
Satnam Sethi aka Sunny (Vikrant Massey) wants to open a restaurant but his father agrees to support him on the condition that he gets married first. Hence sunny begins the quest of searching for a girl. Ginny was school-time crush. He tries to impress her with the help of her mom who is a marriage broker. Eventually, Ginny starts liking Sunny but is confused as she was still stuck over her past relationship.
