Godzilla vs. Kong looks to be an action-packed treat, and regardless of how good the plot is, we should expect the best big-screen (and small-screen) fight of 2021. A new set of posters teasing the widely awaited showdown has been posted.
We get a closer look at Kong’s makeshift axe, and although we don’t know where the massive piece of wood came from, it appears that he’s wielding one of Godzilla’s dorsal fins.
During an early fight, he clearly manages to rip a chunk off his opponent, which he later uses on his fellow Titan. We’ll undoubtedly see a lot more in the coming weeks, like another teaser.
In Godzilla vs. Kong, legends clash as these mythic foes face off in a thrilling war for the ages, with the destiny of the planet on the line. Kong and his protectors embark on a dangerous quest in search of his true home, and Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has developed a strong bond, joins them.
However, they find themselves in the path of an angry Godzilla, who is wreaking havoc around the globe. The titanic battle, which was sparked by invisible powers, is just the beginning of the mystery that lies deep inside the Earth’s heart.
