Gumraah is an upcoming Hindi-language crime thriller film directed by Vardhan Ketkar and produced by T-Seies film and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios. The film stars Aditya Roy Kapur, in a dual role along with Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Roy. It is a remake of the 2019 Tamil film Thadam. It also stars Ronit Roy as ACP Dhiren Yadav Vedika Pinto Mohit Anand Deepak Kalra Navneet Kaur Thind.

The story revolves around inspector Shivani Mathur who is assigned to investigate a man’s murder, where she finds two look-alike suspects, who don’t know each other existence. However, the case becomes complicated for Shivani when she uncovers new facts about the case.  Aditya, who has never performed a double part, will portray two different characters in the movie, while Mrunal will portray a police officer.

Earlier Aditya Roy Kapoor said “I am inspired and excited to be part of telling such an interesting story. The original film was incredibly riveting and entertaining, and it left a lasting impression on me. As an actor, getting a chance to do a double role is double the preparation and double the challenge, and I’m certainly up for it! I look forward to collaborating with Bhushanji, Murad Bhai, and Vardhan to bring this exciting thriller to the screen soon.”

The film is releasing on 7^th April 2023.
