Tamil superstar Karthi shared the trailer of the upcoming series, ‘In The Name Of God’, on his Twitter handle. The series, which will release on the streaming platform ‘Aha’, stars Priyadarshi, Nandini Rai, Posani Krishna Murali and others. In The Name Of God is written and directed by Vidyasagar Muthukumar, and is slated to release on the 18th of June, 2021.
Karthi’s tweet read “Excited to launch the trailer of #InTheNameOfGod, an all-new crime thriller web series, releasing June 18 on @ahavideoIN! Wishing the best for@Suresh_Krissna sir and team!” Actress Nandini Rai is making her digital debut with this web series. She plays a married woman in the film and kills her husband.
Popular Telegu Comedian, Priyadarshi’s character in the film, agrees to drive a jeep in the hopes of getting lucky with Nandini’s character, during the course of their journey, but things go haywire when he finds out about her husband’s (played by Posani) dead body, in the trunk of the car. This is also Posani Murali Krishna’s first major digital project.
The producer of this crime-thriller, veteran film-maker Suresh Krishna, in an earlier statement had said that Priyadarshi “was a revelation in terms of his acting range, and so was Nandini Rai, who beyond her looks, gave a lot of emotional depth to her performance.”Priyadarshi made his digital debut last year with ‘Loser’ and went on to do another project ‘Mail’ for ‘Aha video’. He had a great start to 2021, with the success of ‘Jathiratnalu’.
