Focus Feature has released a new poster for its Willem Dafoe-starring movie Inside. The image sees him very dishevelled as he’s trapped in a luxury penthouse, standing in a pool, surrounded by greenery, looking up to find means to get out of the place. The movie follows Dafoe as a high-end art thief, Nemo, who after a heist gone bad gets trapped inside a luxury, high-tech penthouse in New York’s Times Square. The psychological horror will find him locked inside with nothing but priceless works of art, and a will to survive while he must use all his wits to get out of there.
Inside is produced by Giorgos Karnavas, who also produced the director’s My Friend Larry Gus. Also on board to produce are Marcos Kantis, and Dries Phlypo.
Isolation is a terrifying concept. Humans are naturally social creatures, and in depriving someone of interacting with others for an extended period, one tends to go a little nutty. No one knows this better than Willem Dafoe, the lead in the upcoming psychological horror film Inside. As the art thief Nemo, Dafoe will find himself locked inside a New York penthouse with no means of escape, forced to do whatever he can to survive the enclosed space. Oddly enough, it’s not unfamiliar territory for the veteran actor.
For all the Dafoe simps, you’ll be glad to know Inside is mere months from dropping in your local cinema, with a release date scheduled for March 10, 2023. Add it to your calendars and don’t say we didn’t warn you!
