The makers of Sairat are once again coming back with the upcoming film Jhund, starring Big B. Earlier, the movie has been postponed, with multiple dates due to COVID 19. But the makers have finally decided to release the film on Amazon Prime Video. Nagraj Manjule, one of the finest directors of India, regionally with Marathi films, has bagged many National Film Awards for his outstanding direction.
Whereas, “Jhund” a Hindi feature film, marks Manjule’s directorial debut in Bollywood. This biographical sports drama oriented film has based on the life of Vijay Barse, a social worker from Nagpur who elevates underprivileged children through football. The retired sports teacher trains hard the bunch of slum kids by forming a bright team. Barse’s organization is also popularly known as “Slum Soccer”.The audience already has many expectations for the compelling character portraying by Amitabh Bachchan.
After all, we all had waited long enough! He surely knows to leave his impression with his spectacular and challenging performances. Alongside, Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thomar are also sharing the screen with the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan.
