It is a political thriller film of Indian-Tamil origin.

PRODUCTION:

The film is made by S. P. Jananathan, who made a small comeback into direction stuff after Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai, released in 2015. Vijay Sethupathi was taken in as a lead male actor to play the role of a social activist.

While in the post-production stage in 2021, Jananathan died in a post-production stage, so this became his last film as a director. Jananathan collapsed at his residence. Many Kollywood actors and actresses came to pay tribute to this legendary and famous director after his sudden demise before the release of the film.

MUSIC:

D. Imman composed the music for this film and the fourth time for Vijay Sethupathi after the films, Rummy, Rekka, and Karuppan. The music rights for this film are taken by Lahari Music.
