The eagerly awaited second season of “Made in Heaven” will debut on August 10, according to a statement made on Wednesday by Amazon Prime Video. The show, which was co-created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, centres on Tara Khanna, played by Sobhita Dhulipala, and Karan Mehra, portrayed by Arjun Mathur, two best friends who are now wedding planners who must deal with conflicts in their personal lives while navigating the world of lavish Indian weddings. According to a press release, the second season of “Made of Heaven” will delve further into the lives of its characters as they deal with the difficulties of planning and celebrating marriages while their own lives take unexpected turns.
Together with Alankrita Shrivastava, Neeraj Ghaywan and Nitya Mehra, Kagti and Akhtar are directing the second season’s seven episodes. Along with Dhulipala and Mathur, it also stars Jim Sarbh, KalkiKoechlin, Shashank Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Vijay Raaz, Mona Singh, Ishwak Singh, and Trinetra Haldar are the newcomers to the season.
The Made in Heaven Season 2 story centres on Tara and Karan, who run a wedding management company where they achieved success as wedding planners but whose personal willingness to rely on her husband Adil Khaann and Karan’s struggles with society’s stereotypes in India.
