One Piece Film: Red is a 2022 Japanese animated fantasy action adventure film and it is directed by Gorō Taniguchi. Its screenplay is written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa. It is the fifteenth feature film of the One Piece film series and it is based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda.

The movie revolves around Uta who is the most beloved singer in the world. She is renowned for concealing her own identity when she performs and her voice is otherworldly. For the first time, Uta will reveal herself to the world at a live concert. The venue fills with all the Uta fans such as the excited pirates. The Straw Hats are led by Luffy who simply came to enjoy her performance. The movie begins when Luffy reveals that she is Red-Haired Shanks’ daughter and his childhood friend.

The producer of this movie is Eiichiro Oda under Toei Animation. The voice actors in the movie such as Mayumi Tanaka, Shuichi Ikeda, Kaori Nazuka, Kazuya Nakai, Akemi Okamura, Kappei Yamaguchi, Hiroaki Hirata, Ikue Ohtani and Yuriko Yamaguchi play important roles. The music in this movie is composed by Yasutaka Nakata while the cinematography is done by Ejian Changgao. The movie is edited by Kentaro Kawasaki. One Piece Film: Red is scheduled to be released on 7th October and distributed by Toei Company.
