Directed by Jatin Wagle, Poison is an Indian crime thriller web series which is streaming on Zee 5. It stars Arbaaz Khan, Freddy Daruwala and Tanuj Virwani in the first season and Aftab Shivdasani, Raai Lakshmi, Rahul Dev and Pooja Chopra in the second season.
It has 2 seasons and 11 episodes in each season, about 30 minutes long. Poison season 2 is not connected to its first season story-wise, but the central idea of both the seasons is the same- revenge. In the first season, Ranveer is the central character who is on a killing spree, which gets him to Goa. There, he buys a bar and befriends Vikram who is a police officer. Ranveer then starts romancing both of Vikram’s sisters. He ends up getting in trouble with the dreaded don of Goa, Antonio Varghese due to his bar ownership.
Season 2 is the story of a very content Jaiveer, who has a lovely family, girlfriend, friends and a fantastic career. This all ends abruptly when he and his father were implicated in a diamond heist and imprisoned. Things go downhill when his father commits suicide and his mother slips into a coma. It is revealed later that the friends whom he trusted set him up in this mess and this is when he decides to take revenge.
