A fantasy drama with a new take on Norse mythology, “Ragnarok” is definitely binge-worthy. The show gives the fundamental idea a reincarnation twist in order to avoid simply depicting the Norse gods and their enemies as ages-old characters who have been at it for ages.

As a result, “Ragnarok” can serve as a sort of origin tale for a superhero, with young Magne (David Stakston) discovering that he is the thunder god Thor.

He must stop the end of the world with the help of his newly discovered powers.

In particular, he must fight against ancient giants who pose as a wealthy family in order to start the catastrophic climate change event known as Ragnarok. Additionally to the fact that Laurits has firmly joined the anti-Magne camp and that his deadly “tapeworm” is now at large, the remaining Jutuls are still as destructive as ever.

It’s probably safe to say that Season 3 of “Ragnarok” will be extremely dangerous for the protagonists even without accounting for all the unavoidable new threats.
